Finding Leads For Ebola Through Bioinformatics Exploration.

The scientists at the enzymology unit of the department of
biochemistry at the Federal University of Technology Akure (FUTA) Nigeria, have decided to provide possible leads from potential medicinal plants in Nigeria, for the treatment of the deadly infectious disease called Ebola.

The method of bioinformatics was decided to be used after careful consideration of the risk of working on the live virus in such an academic research laboratory.
The study is also expected to divulge the genuineness of some of the acclaimed experimental reports, and consider critically the on-going rVSV-ZEBOV vaccine development.
